Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services team member to prepare dining areas, serve meals, and ensure proper temperatures and service standards in daily shifts. The role includes rotating weekends and holidays and working 6am-2pm in a day shift environment.

Responsibilities emphasize delivering attractive meals, responding to resident requests, managing supplies, and maintaining equipment cleanliness while complying with policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas for meals; set tables with dinnerware and decor.
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
• Obtain meal orders.
• Monitor and maintain supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
• Observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining service equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
• May operate dishwasher when appropriate.
