Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a part-time food service helper for the 2nd shift. You will set tables, bus and wash dishes, assist the cook, and help keep dining areas clean while delivering friendly service to residents.

We offer an hourly rate of $14–$16, quarterly wage increases, a 401K with Safe Harbor matching, and bonuses up to $5,000 for length of service plus up to $1,000 for referrals. Generous PTO and earned wage access are available.

Qualifications

• Must relate positively to residents and families and work with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet state health requirements.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following procedures; assist cooks and serve when needed.
• Set up serving carts, help serve meals, bus tables and maintain dining areas.
• Maintain sanitation practices and safe, clean dining environments.
• Support the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Summary:

Responsible for setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, and completing cleaning duties.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be able to relate positively to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with other employees.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Residents, families, staff, community officials, referral sources, and the general public.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
• Must meet all state health requirements.

• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following Facility procedures. Clean dishwashing area. Assist in serving, if needed. Assist cooks in cleaning food serving areas and equipment.
• Set up serving carts for each meal as required. Help serve meals to residents’ tables following Facility procedures. Bus tables and prepare dishes for washing. Clean dining room tables and chairs as needed. Sweep and clean the dining room area. Set tables for the next meal. Focus on good customer service in regard to foodservice. Works as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen. Adheres to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Performs similar or related duties as required or directed.
