• Clear and sanitize tables; perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain a well-organized server station and keep dining supplies stocked.
• Operate a POS system and balance end-of-shift reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.

Position Summary

As a Server, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier dining service to residents and guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. This role involves meal service, table setting, order taking, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests with warmth and professionalism.Assist with meal setup, including setting tables, ensuring menus are correct, and maintaining a clean dining space.Take meal orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring any dietary needs or adaptive equipment requirements are met.Serve meals, beverages, soups, salads, and desserts in a timely and courteous manner.Clear and clean tables, sanitize surfaces, and perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.Maintain a well-organized server station and ensure dining supplies are stocked.Operate a P.O.S. system to process transactions and balance end-of-shift reports.Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure.

Required Certifications

Smart Choice certificate/permitFood handlers permitAny additional certifications required by state/provincial regulationsExperience in hospitality, food service, or senior living dining is a plus.
