Job summary

Applebee’s is hiring servers to deliver food and beverages with courteous, timely service while engaging guests in a friendly dining atmosphere. You’ll maintain a clean dining area and ensure accuracy of orders, addressing any issues proactively to uphold the Applebee’s Service Promise.

We value team leadership, strong communication, and the stamina to thrive in a fast-paced casual restaurant. Prior experience is preferred and state certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of casual restaurant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certifications per state requirements preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stamina to work in a busy dining room.

Job Description

As a Server at Applebee’s, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages while accommodating guests’ needs in a courteous and timely manner. Every interaction should reflect the Applebee’s Service Promise by making friendly, personal connections with guests, maintaining a clean and comfortable dining environment, setting the pace with attentive service, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered quickly, and addressing any issues proactively to make things right.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certification that meets state requirements, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
