Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas in Cary, NC is hiring a Server to deliver a premium dine-in experience for guests. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure guests have a memorable dining visit.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with menu selections, promoting specials, processing payments, and maintaining clean tables. Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, be 18+, hold Food Handler’s and state alcohol certifications, and be available holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler’s and state alcohol certification required.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

• Assist guests with menu selections and offer recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest tables throughout the dine-in experience.
• Clear empty dishes, refill drinks, and provide additional items as requested.
• Promote additional menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Process guest payments accurately using cash, credit card, or other payment methods.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Address any guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dine-in area and server stations.
• Assist with closing duties, including restocking supplies, cleaning.
• Other tasks as requested.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motions.
