Job summary

Grand Living at The Grove in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly Server to deliver attentive dining service across our luxury senior living communities. You will assist in serving meals, supporting special events, and providing personalized experiences that reflect First Class Happiness®.

This role requires strong hospitality skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, prior serving or hospitality experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to communicate with residents and staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds during shifts.

What You'll Do

As aServer, you'll help create exceptional dining experiences throughout our community. Whether serving residents in our elegant dining room, welcoming guests to the Bistro, supporting special events, or delivering personalized service in Luminations®(memory care), you'll bring The Sterling Touch® to every interaction.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver attentive, personalized service to residents and guests

What You Bring

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and service.

Preferred qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Previous serving or hospitality experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional service standards
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
• Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hands and arms in order to use all kitchen equipment and utensils (e.g. knives, spoons spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.)
• This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, and remaining active throughout the shift.
