EDUCATION:

High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and indifferent types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests in dining rooms, patios, lounges, and at events.
  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and daily specials.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve meals and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy of orders.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently between courses and after meals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas, including side stations and server trays.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and beverage service guidelines to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas for daily service or special events.
  • Communicate member and guest feedback or concerns to management as needed.
  • Uphold the standards and service expectations of the club and represent the community with professionalism.
  • Maintain knowledge of club offerings, including menus, wine lists, and upcoming events.
  • Handle member problems and complaints as professionally as possible or refer to F&B leadership for support.
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown and service of all major club functions and events as needed.
  • Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
