• Patrols an assigned zone to detect and deter criminal activity and traffic violations
• Responds to calls relayed by communications officers
• Conducts preliminary investigations including interviewing victims and witnesses, gathering information and evidence
• Performs basic crime scene processing and collects statements
• Arrests and processes offenders, including fugitives
• Provides first aid/CPR to victims and assists motorists
• Drives and maintains patrol car, equipment, and uniform
• Attends ongoing training and performs Bailiff duties for Municipal Court
