Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Lab Supervisor for the Serology & Immunology Department in Tucker, GA. This full-time role expects Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a pay range around $90,000+ annually and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for external candidates. Comprehensive benefits and annual bonuses may apply.

Responsibilities include supervising department staff, planning workloads, and ensuring adherence to CLIA/HIPAA OSHA standards, while maintaining safe, efficient laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years full-time supervisory experience.
• 6 years clinical experience.
• At least 1 year as a Supervisor at Quest Diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of the department, distribute/assign work, determine priorities, schedule non-routine procedures.
• Perform supervisory functions for assigned staff including interviewing, hiring, training and providing staff development through performance evaluation and corrective counseling.
• Perform advanced/specialized tests and other related laboratory techniques; re-evaluate methodology and interpret results.
• Check/approve all specialized and problem reports for accuracy.
• Initiate quality-control measures and monitor quality of work for adherence to lab standards.
• Participate in government or regulatory agency inspections as needed.
