The State of South Carolina is hiring for a supervisory role within the Department of Corrections. You will oversee security staff in housing units and manage inmate supervision, inspections, and counts.
Responsibilities include investigating misconduct, evaluating staff performance, counseling, training, and reporting. Candidates must complete SCDC basic supervisory training within six months of entry.
Must successfully complete eight (8) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
A high school diploma and relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
