State of South Carolina is seeking a Supervisor in the corrections system to oversee housing unit security staff and inmate management. You will direct discipline, supervise conduct and appearance, and ensure compliance with security and safety standards.
The role requires strong leadership, investigative skills, and the ability to prepare detailed reports. Training will be provided; a high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree possibly substituting for experience.
Sergeant will be assigned to RHU.
Must successfully complete eight (8) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
A high school diploma and relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
