Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to operate a service truck, pump septic tanks, and ensure safety and excellent customer service on every job. The role is based in Massachusetts with year-round work and a competitive benefits package.

The position requires a Class A/B CDL, willingness to obtain a Tanker Endorsement, and strong communication skills. Candidates must pass a DOT drug screen and a road test, with training provided for safe field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A or B CDL required.
• Tanker Endorsement a plus or willing to obtain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive manual transmission, no restrictions.
• DOT drug screen, physical and road test required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options.
• Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
