Job summary

National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) invites undergraduates to apply for a year-round, on-site internship with the Separations Science and Engineering group in Golden, Colorado. You will perform benchtop wet chemistry, sample preparation, purification, and multi-scale chromatography, with exposure to programming (Python or Rust) and automation of separation systems, all under safety-first supervision.

The role supports research toward biofuels and separations technology, offering hands-on

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student as specified
• Demonstrated general laboratory experience and exposure to analytical chemistry and/or biochemistry
• Attention to detail and time management
• Ability to follow Standard Lab Safety Procedures and work independently

• Support laboratory-based separation experiments and equipment development
