Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Manager, Content & Local SEO to own the content and local SEO programs for DignityMemorial.com and related sites. You will collaborate with the Senior Manager, SEO to identify growth opportunities, set priorities, and measure the impact of investments, while leading cross-functional teams and external agencies.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a solid background in digital marketing and SEO, and the ability to travel as needed to support

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or business field.
• 5-7 years of digital marketing experience.
• 3 years of onsite and offsite SEO experience.

• Experience managing agency partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own the local SEO strategy and performance for Dignity Memorial locations, including Google Business Profiles, local listings, location pages, and local search visibility.
• Develop strategies to improve map pack rankings, local organic visibility, and location-driven traffic and conversions.
• Establish standards for NAP consistency, local page optimization, and location-based structured data.
• Use performance data, competitive insights, and market trends to identify and prioritize local SEO growth opportunities.
• Lead agency partners responsible for local SEO, setting priorities, and evaluating recommendations and results.

Working with the Senior Manager, SEO, this role identifies growth opportunities, establishes priorities, leads cross-functional and agency partners, and measures the impact of content and local SEO investments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the local SEO strategy and performance for Dignity Memorial locations, including Google Business Profiles, local listings, location pages, and local search visibility.
• Develop strategies to improve map pack rankings, local organic visibility, and location-driven traffic and conversions.
• Establish standards for NAP consistency, local page optimization, and location-based structured data.

Education

A Bachelor's’ Degree in marketing or business related field.

Experience

• 5-7 years of digital marketing experience
• 3 years of onsite and offsite Search Engine Optimization Experience
• Experience partnering with product and IT to deliver technical solutions that improve SEO
• Experience with web analytics
• Experience managing agency partnerships
• Google Search Console SEO tools like SEMRush, MOZ, Surfer SEO, BrightEdge
