Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Strategist, Senior Living to own search for a book of senior living clients. You will define technical roadmaps, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved.

You will handle technical SEO (crawl, indexation, site speed), keyword strategy with writers/AI, and AI-enabled search visibility alongside classic results. Remote role with US clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with audits and fixes.
• Proficiency in Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
• Excellent spoken English for US-based calls.
• Experience with senior living or multi-location SEO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO for client sites including crawl, indexation, and site speed.
• Develop keyword strategy and content priorities with writers and AI outputs.
• Improve visibility in AI search results alongside traditional organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Prepare GA4 and Search Console reports and define quarterly roadmaps per client.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Strategist, Senior Living you own search for a book of senior living clients (senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
