Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency, is seeking an SEO Specialist to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will shape technical roadmaps, content priorities and the ranking story in conversations with clients and teams.

You will lead technical SEO efforts, guide content strategies with writers and AI, and optimize for Google AI Overviews as well as traditional organic results. This role is remote with a focus on US clients and a broader international scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Define keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Get clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity alongside classic organic results.
• Handle links, local search and multi-location SEO where needed.
• Report in GA4 and Search Console, and outline quarterly roadmaps for each client.
