Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an SEO and AI Search Manager to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will guide the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story during client inquiries.

You will bring 3+ years of hands-on SEO, fluency with GA4/GA Console and tools, and experience managing multiple clients in an agency setting. Remote-first role serving US/Canada/SA markets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO and able to run audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI-assisted drafts.
• Get clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, plus classic organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed by clients.
• Provide reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and set quarterly roadmaps for each client.

You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring
