Job summary

Zip Security in Washington, DC is seeking an SEO and AEO expert to own organic search end-to-end and guide our paid search with the agency. You will build a robust technical SEO foundation, expand AI/citation visibility, and create a conversion-focused roadmap that turns traffic into pipeline.

You will work with a fast-growing cybersecurity marketing team, applying rigorous analytics, experimentation, and cross-channel collaboration. Hybrid work, equity, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SEO, growth, search, or digital acquisition, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Deep technical SEO expertise: crawling, indexing, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals.
• Genuine curiosity about AEO, GEO, and LLM visibility with hands-on experimentation.
• Working knowledge of Google Ads and the ability to marry keyword strategy across organic and paid.
• Strong analytical skills with Search Console, GA4, and modern SEO tools.
• Experience linking acquisition activity to conversion, pipeline, and revenue.
• Ability to work independently with team support on reporting and strategy.
• Cybersecurity experience is valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own Zip's SEO strategy end to end, from technical foundations to content and authority.
• Grow Zip's AEO visibility across ChatGPT and AI answer engines.
• Develop a search roadmap based on buyer questions prioritized by opportunity.
• Build a conversion engine, testing landing pages, messaging and CTAs to drive pipeline.
• Coordinate keyword strategy across paid and organic with the agency handling Google Ads.
• Shape reporting linking search, AI visibility, and revenue with support from the team.
• Foster a culture of experiments and distribute content across channels.
