Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Principal or Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Manager to support the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah.

This role requires active DoD Secret clearance and involves sustaining ICBM systems, launch facilities, and related infrastructure. You will develop ILS technical reports, maintenance plans, and training documents, and coordinate with engineering, production, logistics, and contracting to align sustainment objectives.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Management to join its team. This engineer will support the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What You Will Get To Do

The selected individual will produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.
Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.
This position may be filled as a Principal (level 3) or Sr. Principal (level 4).

Basic Qualifications

Principal Technical Services Project Management:

• Bachelor's of science with 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master’s degree, 0 years of experience with PhD.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
• 2 years of experience with ILS principles, maintenance concepts, sparing/provisioning, and life cycle sustainment planning; familiarity with relevant military/industry standards and guidance.
• 2 years of developing and maintaining technical reports, maintenance plans, and training requirements documents to defined standards.
• 2 years of experience working with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to resolve sustainment issues.
• 2 years of experience performing and interpreting sustainment-related analyses (e.g., sparing, life cycle cost, reliability/maintainability inputs) to inform sustainment strategies.

Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Management

• Bachelor's degree of science with 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with master’s degree, 4 years of experience with PhD.
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
• 4 years of experience with ILS principles, maintenance concepts, sparing/provisioning, and life cycle sustainment planning; familiarity with relevant military/industry standards and guidance.
• 4 years of developing and maintaining technical reports, maintenance plans, and training requirements documents to defined standards.
• 4 years of experience working with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to resolve sustainment issues.
• 4 years of experience performing and interpreting sustainment-related analyses (e.g., sparing, life cycle cost, reliability/maintainability inputs) to inform sustainment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Product Support processes.
• Experience with Sentinel program.
• Experience with ICBM programs.

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
