Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems division in Roy, UT seeks a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support the Sentinel program. The role involves representing GSC in negotiations, preparing requisitions, and guiding lifecycle planning within SAP.

You’ll coordinate with program teams to develop material execution plans, forecast materials, and maintain SAP masters. A bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of related experience is expected, with travel and a 9/80 schedule noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s degree with 0 years experience allowed; four additional years may substitute for degree.
• Experience with SAP ERP System focused on MRP functions and transactions.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and SAP/SAP-A programs.
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and methods.

Responsibilities

• Represent GSC in ROSE negotiations, design reviews, and PDP sign-offs to ensure accurate information is captured.
• Review and hand off complete and accurate requisitions to procurement.
• Support program by providing guidance, status, and lifecycle support for GSC.
• Coordinate with GSCPMs to develop and communicate material execution plans.
• Support material sales goals by creating GSC material forecasts and cross-functional alignment.
• Create and maintain material masters in SAP for planning and requirements generation.
• Identify and communicate deficiencies and manage corrective actions.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist . This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program.

What You’ll Get To Do:

• Represent GSC in ROSE negotiations, design reviews, and PDP sign offs to ensure complete and accurate information is incorporated in each stage of the process


• Review and hand off complete and accurate requisitions to the procurement team


• Support program by providing guidance, status, and support throughout the product lifecycle on behalf of GSC


• Coordinate with the GSCPMs to develop and communicate the material execution plans


• Support division material sales goals by creating the GSC material forecast and working cross functionally to drive accuracy to the forecast


• Creation and maintenance of the material masters within SAP to ensure proper planning and requirements generation can occur


• Identify and promptly communicate all deficiencies and deviations from plan and assure and manage actions required to correct them

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; OR a master's degree and 0 years experience. Four additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.


• Experience with SAP ERP System focused on MRP Functions and Transactions


• Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need


• Experience with Supply Chain best methods and practices

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense


• Experience working in CPLM


• Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)


• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills


• Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers and customers

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
