Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Technical Services Engineer to support the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah.

You will develop ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents while shaping sustainment strategies for life cycle costs. Collaborating with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams, you will ensure alignment with sustainment objectives and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5 years of experience (3 years with master's) or equivalent.
Active DoD Secret Clearance with a recent investigation.
Special Program access as required by the business.
3–5 years defining, implementing, or managing product support processes on a complex system.
3–5 years supporting a sustainment or development program in logistics, engineering, or PM.

Responsibilities

Produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents.
Develop sustainment strategies: maintenance concepts, spare parts provisioning, risk mitigation, life cycle cost forecasting.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Technical Services Engineer to join its team.

This position is in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

The selected candidate will produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards. Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.

Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.

This position may be filled at the Principal (level 3) or Sr. Principal (level 4) level.

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Technical Services Engineer:

Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master's degree, 0 years of experience with PhD. Alternatively, an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to obtain Special Program access in a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business needs of the company.
3-5 years of demonstrated experience defining, implementing, or managing product support processes on a complex system or program.
3-5 years of demonstrated experience supporting a system sustainment or development program in a logistics, engineering, program management, or product support role.

Sr. Technical Services Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with master's degree, 4 years of experience with PhD. Alternatively, an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must be able to obtain Special Program access in a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business needs of the company.
3-5 years of demonstrated experience defining, implementing, or managing product support processes on a complex system or program.
3-5 years of demonstrated experience supporting a system sustainment or development program in a logistics, engineering, program management, or product support role.

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in ICBM 2M0X1 (Electro-Mechanical), 2M0X2 (Missile Maintenance/Missile Handling), or 2M0X3 (Facilities Maintenance) USAF Career Specialty Codes.
Experience with ICBM Communications, NC3, or SACCS.
Experience with the Sentinel program.
Experience with Program management or operations.
Understanding of Product Support processes.
