Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Principal or Sr. Principal Technical Services Engineer to support the Sentinel program and ICBM sustainment. You will develop ILS reports, maintenance plans, and lifecycle cost forecasts while coordinating across engineering, logistics, and contracting teams.

U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance is required, plus 3–5 years of product support experience on complex systems. Eligible for a 9/80 schedule with robust benefits.

Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do:The selected candidate will produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards. Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.This position may be filled at the Principal (level 3) or Sr. Principal (level 4) level.Basic Qualifications:Principal Technical Services Engineer:Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master’s degree, 0 years of experience with PhD. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.#SentinelSystemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
