Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Common Product Lifecycle Management (CLPM) SME to support Sentinel. You will act as a technical liaison across engineering disciplines, resolving Teamcenter/NX issues and contributing to program documentation.

Minimum qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering degree, Secret clearance, and NX/Teamcenter experience. The role follows a 9/80 schedule with onsite work in Roy, UT and opportunities to collaborate with distributed teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • 2+ years (level 2) or 5+ years (level 3) of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance at time of application and ability to obtain SAP clearance.
  • Experience with Siemens NX and PLM software.

Responsibilities

  • Act as CLPM SME using Teamcenter and NX to resolve user issues.
  • Triage and prioritize impact of user issues; troubleshoot and resolve.

This position is not eligible for remote work.What You Will Get To Do:Act as a subject matter expert in Common Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) and NX to resolve user issuesTriage and prioritize impact of user issuesTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve user issues when possibleMust have excellent communication and written skills while troubleshooting user issuesElevate user issues when neededFollow user support workflowLearn program and division Principle & Operating Practices to identify correct PLM usageDemonstrates the ability to work independently, retain instruction, and execute tasks with minimal follow-upWork closely with program user communityAct as a liaison across multiple engineering disciplines across the programIdentify potential gap in processesIdentify repeat and common user issues for training opportunitiesPerform tool testing.Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation in the form of job aids.Bring a strong ability to comprehend, implement and adhere to documented processes with an inherent ability to make sound decisions.Professionally represent the Strategic Deterrent Systems and Sentinel organizations while interacting with internal and external contacts including suppliers, senior personnel and executive leadership on matters requiring coordination between organizations and sectors.This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.This position may be filled as an Engineer (level 2) or a Principal Engineer (level 3) depending on years of experience and qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM disciplineMinimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experienceMinimum of 1 year (level 2) or 3 years (level 3) of experience with Siemens NX.Active Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scopeMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearanceMust be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.Preferred Qualifications:The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program stakeholder needs.The ability to identify and address program impacts through systematic and proactive approaches to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors and promptly resolves conflicts.Competence and confidence working under pressure on requests with short turn-around timesExperience working with geographically distributed teamsExperience with a ticketing workflow systems (Service Now)Experience with Siemens Capital & XpeditionFamiliarity with Siemens NX or other CAD softwareFamiliarity with computer-aided engineering analysis toolsExperience with Siemens Teamcenter (or other product lifecycle management software)Experience with configuration managementKnowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements managementExperience in defense system/subsystem product designPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
