Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory seeks a creative systems engineer to lead the development and integration of advanced sensor systems using digital engineering and MBSE. You will apply MBSE standards, guide technical direction, and ensure timely, high-quality results as part of the Sensor Systems Engineering Group.

The role requires 5+ years in systems engineering, MBSE expertise, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance with potential for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in a related field and 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
Hands-on MBSE experience and familiarity with DODAF/UAF frameworks.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and pursue Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead development and integration of advanced sensor systems using MBSE.
Apply MBSE methods and ensure interoperability among analysis tools and models.
Establish and communicate MBSE standards and provide technical direction.
Travel to work with prime contractors and Government Labs as needed.
