Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector in the United States. The role focuses on using manual or automated measurement tools to assure product quality, identify non-conforming parts, and maintain inspection records.

You will review materials, apply SPC/SQC methods, and ensure compliance with internal specs and customer requirements. Responsibilities include supporting root cause analysis, documenting work, and communicating issues to the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices as required.
• Ability to perform electrical test methods (ohm meter, gauss meter, surge test, hi pot).
• Basic understanding of blueprint and GD&T.
• Ability to pass visual acuity exam upon offer.
• Ability to obtain Braze, Weld and Solder inspection certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize measurement and testing equipment to assure product quality.
• Identify non-conforming parts and document inspection records in Oracle.
• Inspect raw materials and purchased parts for conformance to design requirements.
• Apply statistical process control techniques as required.
• Perform tasks according to internal process specs and third‑party requirements.
• Support root cause analysis and communicate findings to team.
• Complete all labor tracking documentation and keep shift operators informed.
• Collaborate with team to address deficiencies and new processes.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures and GE Leadership behaviors.
