Job summary

REVOLVE is hiring a Product and Yarn Developer in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time role focuses on sourcing and developing high-quality knits, coordinating with PD, design, and buying, and managing data in PLM systems. The position offers generous perks and a dynamic fashion retail environment.

The candidate will lead fabric and yarn development across brands, track production, and ensure on-time deliveries while negotiating costs and maintaining quality objectives.

Qualifications

• 2 year college education
• 5 years experience in Product Development within the Knitwear Category
• Basic knowledge of PLM software, Excel, Outlook, Google
• 4 year college education (preferred)
• 10 years experience in Product Development within the Knitwear Category (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of PLM software, Excel, Outlook, Google (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of PD and Production including how bulk is both landed, shipped and affects costing
• Understanding of platforming fabrics and how this affects bottom line and T+A
• Must be able to perform efficiently with tight deadlines (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with PD, Design, and buying to align on yarn and fabric development.
• Source and develop high-quality yarn and fabric.
• Identify issues early and suggest viable solutions.
• Lead WIP tracking and factory performance to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Negotiate costs with factories while maintaining aesthetics and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications about changes and alerts.
• Enter yarn data into PLM and LG systems; manage knits data in PLM.
• Attend fabric shows and mill appointments.
• Support development calendars and manage multiple brands' fabric RD end-to-end.
