Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of workers’ compensation.
• MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective negotiation skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Investigate workers’ compensation claims by contacting injured workers, providers, and employers; determine validity under WC statutes.
• Review medical bills to confirm relation to WC and adherence to treatment plans.
• Ensure timely payments of medical bills and income replacement per fee schedules and statutes.
• Answer questions on claim status from claimants, policyholders, and providers.
• Consult with attorneys on litigation management, settlement strategy and resolution.
