Job summary

Evans & Dixon, LLC seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney for our Omaha, NE office. We require 5–7+ years of litigation experience and strong administrative skills, with willingness to learn and be mentored by senior attorneys.

You will conduct legal research, manage case dockets, and collaborate with a team on a variety of workers' compensation matters in state and federal courts in the Midwest. This role offers a fast-paced, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Five to seven plus years of experience in the legal field.
• Active Nebraska license or ability to become licensed in Nebraska is required.
• An ABA-accredited law degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals and staff as a team.
• Perform legal research and stay current with workers' compensation developments.
• Direct client interactions on a daily basis and build client relationships.
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants and judges, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, findings of fact and other legal documents.
