Job summary

Key Risk in High Point, NC seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative III to manage complex claims with diligence and integrity. You will analyze, negotiate, and settle claims, maintain reserves, coordinate litigation, and ensure compliance with state statutes while delivering excellent service to policyholders and brokers.

Role requires 3–5 years of WC claims experience, strong communication, and travel availability up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of workers’ compensation claims management experience.
• Adjuster license strongly desired or ability to obtain license within six months.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation principles and laws, preferably jurisdiction specific.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel for business, approx. <10%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex workers’ compensation claims by investigation and information gathering.
• Negotiate settlements up to designated authority level and issue payments.
• Calculate and manage reserves to ensure adequacy throughout the claim life.
• Coordinate litigation and vendor referrals for additional investigation.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and claimants to ensure timely resolution.
