Job summary

You will work with a team of experienced attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants, researching and managing a variety of workers' compensation cases in state and federal courts in the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Five to seven+ years of experience in the legal field.
• Strong analytical, communication and people skills.
• Ability to handle large caseloads and deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants as a team.
• Perform legal research and stay current with developments in the law.
• Interact with clients daily and build client connections.
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences with claimants and judges, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs and other documents.

Education

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school
