Job summary

Tommy Bahama in Seattle is seeking a Women's Senior Designer Knits to lead the line development from concept to final product, working closely with the SVP Women's Sportswear Design, the Design Director and the Knits team to ensure a world‑class knit assortment.

You will drive seasonal trend research, develop garment concepts and sketches, manage fittings, approve samples, present to merchants, and mentor Associate/Assistant Designers to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level fashion design degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years experience in women's apparel design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign; strong sketching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead trend research for knit categories and identify emerging silhouettes.
• Develop garment concepts and styling sketches for the knit line.
• Oversee design process from concept to final samples and coordinate with PD and Materials Team.
• Present category status to merchants and cross-functional teams at milestones.
