Job summary

Apple is seeking a senior wireless silicon firmware QA engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead design and implementation of scalable test automation for SoC firmware, collaborate with software teams, and drive high-quality pre- and post-silicon validation.

You will develop test plans, triage issues, and push for robust automation using Python, C, and Jenkins within a fast-paced hardware environment.

Qualifications

• BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with firmware testing, test automation, and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of CI processes and hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a robust test automation framework for firmware
• Develop test infrastructure and CI flow for pre- and post-silicon validation
• Improve firmware test coverage and release quality
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to diagnose and debug issues
• Create firmware test plans and cases from system and product requirements
