Job summary

Mbi Llc is seeking a qualified candidate to design and implement enterprise network and wireless infrastructure across NJ Transit facilities. Responsibilities include supporting 24x7 operations for transportation networks and ensuring high availability for critical systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least four years of experience in telecommunications, especially with wireless technologies like LTE and 5G. Fieldwork and some after-hours support are required.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of applied experience in telecommunications field.
• Experience in a major PBX and/or network environment.
• Knowledge of wireless network architecture and mobile communications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, supports enterprise network/wireless infrastructure.
• Configures wireless cellular technologies including LTE, 5G, and DAS.
• Performs cellular signal analysis and coverage validation.
• Supports out-of-band connectivity solutions for infrastructure management.
• Evaluates proposals for telecommunications equipment and services.
