Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Materials)
• 9+ years related work experience or equivalent
• 5+ years experience with aircraft structural design
• 3+ years experience with design of composite structures
• Experience with aircraft, heavy structures, or interiors/manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements for wing/empennage design.
• Uses 3-D CAD tools to provide product definition to engineering, production and suppliers.
• Leads tests and analyses to verify structural design meets requirements.
• Manages supplier development, test and production activities to meet program goals.
• Collaborates with international partners/suppliers and adheres to CFR Part 25 requirements.
