Job summary

Athena Technology Group is seeking a Senior Windows Vulnerability Analyst to provide cybersecurity management support for the DISA Cybersecurity Division. You will handle compliance monitoring, reporting, response and mitigation, automation, configuration, and account management for assets across Windows, Unix, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 5+ years of professional experience with endpoint tools and cybersecurity.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Products.
• Current 8570/8140 Certificate with Network Environment focus and ESS certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• US citizenship required.
• Experience with teams in multiple locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an OS technical specialist for assets connected to isolated & cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Stratus, Oracle, Google), NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
• Review change requests, determine risk, and recommend security countermeasures.
• Identify, monitor, analyze, report, and brief status of OS vulnerabilities (Windows, Unix, Mainframe, Network Devices, Cloud Technologies).
• Ensure DoD/DISA directives compliance and generate automated vulnerability reports.
• Provide recommendations for OS vulnerability analysis and implementation to DISA customers and Mission Partners.
• Assist in audits and maintain documentation (up to daily).
