your Jared is seeking a Platform Engineer IV with deep Windows administration and enterprise application support expertise. This remote USA role supports mission-critical environments and key tools like IBM FileNet and DataCap.

The ideal candidate will manage Windows servers, ensure security and performance, implement monitoring, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in Windows administration, including Windows Server environments and Windows-based applications.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure services, and security principles.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Scripting and automation familiarity (PowerShell, Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership, plus excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Ensure systems are patched, up-to-date, and secure.
• Provide technical support for Windows-based applications and optimize performance.
• Implement and maintain monitoring to ensure high availability of Windows platforms.
• Develop and enforce security policies; respond to incidents.
• Create and maintain documentation for architectures, configurations, processes, and service records.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to align IT solutions with business goals.
• Stay current with new technologies and best practices; recommend improvements.
