Job summary

ThreatLocker is seeking a Senior Windows Kernel Software Developer in Orlando to design, implement, and maintain Windows kernel‑mode filter drivers (minifilters, registry, network) that support the Zero Trust platform. You will translate security requirements into robust, low‑level kernel code while ensuring stability and compatibility across Windows versions.

You will collaborate with user‑mode, QA, DevOps, security engineering, and threat research teams, perform advanced debugging with WinDbg,

Qualifications

7+ years of hands‑on Windows kernel‑mode driver development experience.
Expert knowledge of Windows system internals (memory, I/O, processes, synchronization, security).
Advanced experience with kernel debugging, crash analysis, and performance profiling.
Experience developing security‑focused endpoint protection or monitoring tech.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Windows kernel‑mode filter drivers (minifilters, registry, network).
Architect and implement advanced security monitoring and enforcement for file, process, registry, memory, and network activity.
Investigate Windows internals to develop low‑level security features and protections.
Perform advanced kernel debugging, crash dump analysis, and performance tuning using WinDbg and related tools.
Maintain compatibility across Windows versions and platform changes while adopting new capabilities.
Collaborate with user‑mode, QA, DevOps, security engineering, and threat research teams to deliver cohesive security solutions.
