Job summary

ETAP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Irvine, CA. You will build robust desktop applications, tackle challenging technical problems, and contribute to products that support energy design and operations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Windows desktop experience, strong C++, C#, and Visual Studio skills, and hands-on SQL Server/ODBC expertise. You’ll collaborate across teams to improve performance, scalability, and code quality.

Qualifications

7+ years of Windows desktop application development experience.
Strong proficiency in C++, C#, and Visual Studio.
Experience with ODBC, SQL Server, and LocalDB.
Knowledge of database design, SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with multithreading and parallel programming.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; no visa sponsorship.
