Integral seeks a Senior Windows Administrator to oversee the Windows 2019/2022 environment for the U.S. Army PL ALTESS program. You will plan, deploy, and maintain system hardware/software and create procedures to support secure operations.

We require 5+ years of Windows administration, expertise with AD, GPOs, IIS/Apache, and strong networking knowledge, plus an active DoD Secret clearance. A BS in CS and Security+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer.
• Five or more years' experience automating tasks with PowerShell.
• Five or more years' experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IIS, Apache, etc.
• Five or more years' experience in complex networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).
• Five or more years' experience managing enterprise AD structures and complex GPOs.
• Five or more years' experience creating and following SOPs for DR and issue resolution.
• CompTIA Security+.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Overview

The Senior Windows Administrator is responsible for the performance and oversight of the mixed and growing environment of Windows 2019 and Windows 2022 requirements for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS). This position will plan, execute, and implement new system HW and SW and create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with the existing Windows team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for a mixed customer environment.
• Be adept at monitoring and tuning system performance, ongoing operation of the servers, hardening of the servers and reporting of the overall security and operational status.
• Recommend improvements to the enterprise and manage new SW/HW integrations when required while also providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed.
• Provide support towards the lifecycle of a mixed environment of vendor equipment in the datacenter to include firmware version control and periodic preventive maintenance.
• Recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to help expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies to the current environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in Computer Science or IT.
• Five or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer with three or more years' experience in automating assigned tasks utilizing powershell.
• Five or more years' installing, configuration, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites (Internet Information Services (IIS)), Apache, etc.).
• Five or more years' experience working in an environment with complex networking solutions with senior level fundamental knowledge in networking principles, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
• Five or more years' experience managing enterprise level Active Directory Structures.
• Five or more years' experience creating and maintaining complex MS Group Policy implementations.
• Five or more years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player and excellent communication and team skills.
• CompTIA Security+.
• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred:

• Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Server+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), RedHat, Palo, etc., can be waived for 30 days after project join date.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
• Three or more years' experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCA-V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA).
