Job summary

Cognizant IoT Practice seeks a Windchill-focused specialist for Windchill architecture, upgrades, and integrations. You will align Windchill with Creo and CAD environments, ERP interfaces, and data governance in a leading IoT context.

Role involves end-to-end implementation, running upgrades, and documentation; onsite role in NY with competitive compensation and benefits. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience defining high-level and detailed Windchill architecture and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups.
• Experience with Windchill architecture, CAD integrations, and SSO/SSL configurations.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Lead upgrade planning, rehearsals, and production runbook creation.
• Lead development of workflows and system configurations; integrate ERP/MES/CPQ.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Mentor junior developers; maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture and customizations.

Job description

Solution Design

• Define high-level and detailed architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Align Windchill solutions with business goals and industry best practices.
• Experience in CAD worker setup for Windchill environments, including Creo, Office Worker, etc.
• Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, including CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups.
• Configuration of SSO and SSL configuration.

Upgrade Planning & Execution

• Upgrade planning and execution, including rehearsals on lower environments.
• Documenting all steps and preparing a detailed runbook for the production upgrade.
• Final execution of the upgrade on the production environment.
• Running WinDU, analyzing results, and resolving issues reported during upgrade rehearsals.

Customization & Integration

• Lead development of workflows, object models, and system configurations.
• Integrate Windchill with ERP (SAP ECC/S4), MES, CPQ, and CAD platforms.

Project Execution

• Oversee end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Manage risk, stakeholder communication, and project governance.

Mentorship & Documentation

• Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and testing standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and customizations.

Technical Stack

• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink).
• Experience with Windchill Bulk Migration, ESI integration, and performance tuning.

$111,000 – $130,000 per year + COLA
