GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Turbine Controls Engineer to develop controls software interfacing sensors and auxiliary systems. You will drive cross-functional alignment and own complex problems from ideation to fleet-wide deployment, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety across wind turbine control systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls Engineering or similar
10+ years of controls engineering experience in wind turbine design or similar complex systems
Advanced proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and model-based design
Experience in leadership or senior technical capacity managing complex projects

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design lifecycle for major control software features
Lead investigation of fleet-wide technical issues; perform root cause analysis
Define system-level requirements for complex controls features
Partner with cross-functional global teams to drive controls improvements
