Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 10+ years as a biologist or in a related role.
• Experience conducting environmental surveys.
• Experience on NEPA- or state-regulated projects is a plus.
• Experience related to utilities construction is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary field surveys and coordinate project teams.
• Provide specialized wildlife and vegetation guidance to the project team.
• Explain wildlife regulations and ensure compliance on site.
• Develop mitigation strategies and conduct field kickoff meetings.
• Review field reports for accuracy and consistency.
