Job summary

BuildFlow is a full-service print and signage partner, producing large-format interior and exterior signage for institutions and global organizations. As a Senior Wide Format Production Specialist, you’ll run wide-format equipment, uphold color/quality standards, and translate complex project requirements into production-ready output.

You’ll work hands-on with UV and latex printers, cutting tables, and CO2 laser equipment, while collaborating with a team to deliver on-brand signage at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with UV and latex wide-format printing equipment.
• Experience running the cutting or CNC tables, including router bits.
• Laminate, encapsulate, and mount vinyl to substrates ensuring a clean finish.
• Experience running ADA-compliant signage and second-surface printing.
• Troubleshoot print-quality issues and perform routine printhead maintenance.
• Operate CO2 laser engraving/cutting safely on various substrates.

Job description

BuildFlow is a full-service print and signage partner for institutional and global organizations, producing large-format interior and exterior signage, wayfinding systems, branded graphics, and construction related documents for complex buildings and campuses.

From blueprints to temporary signage, directional signs, banners, and ADA-compliant interior programs, our team handles design support, fabrication, and installation so clients get consistent, code-compliant signage delivered on time and at scale. As a Senior Wide Format Production Specialist, you'll play a key role in bringing these programs to life — running our wide-format equipment, upholding color and quality standards, and translating complex project requirements into precise, production-ready output.

What You'll Need

Equipment & Printing

• Hands-on experience with UV and latex ink wide-format printing equipment, including both roll-to-roll and flatbed systems
• Experience running the cutting or CNC tables, including changing out router and cutting bits
• Ability to laminate, encapsulate, and mount vinyl to foamboard, Sintra, Gatorboard, and other substrates, ensuring a clean and bubble and wrinkle free finish
• Experience running ADA-compliant signage and second-surface printing
• Skilled at identifying and troubleshooting common print-quality issues (banding, ink adhesion, misregistration) and performing routine printhead/nozzle maintenance
• Experience operating CO2 laser engraving/cutting equipment, including setting power, speed, and focus for different substrates, and safely processing materials such as acrylic, wood, MDF, and coated metals is a plus.

Software

• Experience setting up print jobs using modern RIP software such as VerteLith and Onyx
• Proficiency with Kongsberg i-Cut Production software, or similar, to set up cut jobs, including creating appropriate cut layers on artwork and setting correct tool presets.

Field Work & Teamwork

• Field installation and removal of vinyl and acrylic signs on walls and windows.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, with a willingness to learn new techniques and share your own expertise to help the team improve quality and delivery time of products and services.
