Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, OR is hiring a Senior Wet Etch Manufacturing Development Engineer within the MDCE organization. You will lead advanced process development, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive technology roadmaps for next‑generation semiconductor devices.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to enable high‑volume manufacturing, optimize yield, and implement equipment changes to reduce defects while aligning with industry trends and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or in a STEM related field
  • 7+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, process development, or technology development experience
  • 1+ years of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical process control
  • 2+ years of root‑cause analysis capabilities using structured problem‑solving and data analytics
  • 2+ years of experience with module integration and interactions across semiconductor processes including; etch, deposition, CMP, or lithography
  • Experience in process optimization, defect reduction, and manufacturing improvements
  • Hands‑on experience with advanced manufacturing processes (e.g. etching, material science, and/or equipment metrology)
