Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults at a Senior Living Community in Summerville, SC. This part-time role offers a clear path to grow your caseload and hours.

You will deliver evidence-based wellness programming through group classes, 1:1 and partner sessions, and collaborate with FOX therapists to support aging residents’ health and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology.
• Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA preferred).
• Prior fitness training experience with willingness to obtain CPT certification.
• Experience or strong interest in working with older adults in a proactive, wellness-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes and 1:1 or partner training for older adults.
• Grow and engage the wellness program within the Senior Living Community.
• Collaborate with FOX therapists (PT/OT/SLP) to support residents' wellness goals.
• Travel to patient residences and other communities as needed to expand reach.
