Job summary

Fox Rehabilitation is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead group exercise and personal training for older adults at a Senior Living Community in Portage, MI. You will drive engagement, grow the wellness program, and build a 1:1 and partner training client base while collaborating with therapy clinicians.

You will travel to patient residences for house calls, expand into additional communities, and educate residents and families on wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; OR CPT certification.
• Experience or strong interest in working with older adults.
• Comfortable presenting and educating residents and families on wellness benefits.
• Ability to travel between Senior Living Communities and patient residences.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient in MS Office; responsive to email, Teams, text, and phone.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Grow the wellness program and increase group class participation.
• Lead 1:1 and partner training with residents.
• Collaborate with FOX therapy team to refer patients to wellness.
• Educate residents and families on wellness program benefits.
• Travel to patient residences for house calls and expand to other communities.
