Job summary

Marsh's Edge in Saint Simons Island, GA seeks a Fitness Director (Senior Living) to lead exercise and wellness programs for residents, teaching classes and supervising 1 full-time and 1 part-time staff. Qualifications

• College or university degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
• CPR, AED, and Group Exercise certifications required.
• Certifications from ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NSCA or other recognized fitness associations preferred.
• Aquatic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement standards of exercise, wellness, and senior health at the community.
• Teach classes and manage a small staff (1 FT, 1 PT) of fitness associates.
• Maintain safety and progression of wellness program participants.
