Job summary

The Groves at Oak Ridge in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to develop and integrate resident programming across the seven wellness dimensions. You will offer diversified activities, provide one-on-one programming for residents who are confined to their rooms, and motivate participation with an engaging events calendar.

A Recreation Therapy related degree (preferred) and Activities Certification (preferred) along with a valid driver’s license are desired; this is a

Qualifications

• Activities Certification desired.
• College degree in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred.
• Valid Driver's License & satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Offer diversified activities to residents.
• Creatively addresses the need to provide one-on-one activities to residents that may be confined to their room.
• Actively motivates residents to participate in activities by providing an accurate calendar of events that engages them with other residents in the community with similar interests.
• Supports and proactively participates in the community's census building initiatives.
• Must have the ability to organize and implement events and programming to meet the needs of all residents.

Education
