Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to serve as the welding quality authority across projects. The ideal candidate holds an AWS SCWI or a CWI with 8+ years of documented inspection leadership, with strong code knowledge and experience in welding quality

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or CWI with 8+ years of welding inspection leadership.
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.x, ASME IX, API 1104.
• Experience writing welding quality programs for structural, industrial, or pipeline work.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans, inspection procedures, and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects and calibrate their calls.
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems and resolve disputed indications with engineers.
