Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to act as the welding quality authority across projects. You will write and review welding quality programs, supervise CWIs and Weld Inspectors, and approve WPS/PQR and welder qualifications.

AWS SCWI is preferred; a CWI with eight or more years of documented inspection leadership is considered. Pay ranges from $50–$68/hour with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI, or current CWI with 8+ years of welding inspection leadership.
• Experience with welding quality programs and procedure approvals.
• Ability to audit fabricators and speak with engineers and officials.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects and review reports.
• Represent the company in welding quality reviews with engineers and officials.
